and Online Therapy in California
To avoid potential cross-contamination among my clients, whose range span from children to older adults, from the fit and healthy to the immune-compromised, I see most of my clients online via telehealth, during the Covid-19 quarantine. I am fully operational, however, from Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm. I have a limited availability for new clients; however, my schedule is dynamic. Please call or text me for available times on 916-200-9592. Leave me a message only if it is really me with whom you wish to work. If you do not hear back from me by the end of the next business day, please do not hesitate to call other therapists. I appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you and stay safe.

Greetings my Fellow Traveller. I provide psychotherapy, a.k.a supportive reflection for your emotional concerns and stress management needs online and in-person. I have special interest in highly perceptive people, the creative, and the "misfit"; those ultra-sensitive to the complexities of life and seeking to design a meaningful life of your choice. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, individually and in the family. I guide you toward an increasingly integrated view of yourself and feeling connected to yourself and to the world. I support your effort to shift your focus from the pains to the possibilities and to approach life with growing confidence. I achieve this by re-connecting you with your strengths in a process that is safely challenging, interactive, and a mix of practical and metaphoric thinking. I smoothly blend science (incl. CBT & DBT), philosophy, imagination, humor, and creative arts with my own wisdom to bring you back to life. I support the LGBTQ Community. I accept private pay; Magellan Healthcare, which includes Kaiser Permanente (through referral from Kaiser), Blue Shield of CA, Western Health, & EAP (Employee Assistance Program); EAP through ACI Specialty Benefits; California Victims Compensation (CalVCB); TriWest, and Out-of-Network agreement (you seek fee-reimbursement from your insurance). Read more about my tips on how to pay for your psychotherapy sessions.
My usual fee for psychotherapy is $85 for 30 minutes, $130 for 50 minutes, and $190 for 90 minutes. If you pay 6 sessions at once, I will give you your 7th session of the same length as a bonus.
Insurance-reimbursed sessions are generally 30/45 minutes long (depending on symptom severity), after the first 60 minutes diagnostic session. EAP and family sessions under insurance are 50 minutes. I confirm your insurance coverage and copays for you.
Since I reserve your session time especially for you, if you need to cancel or reschedule I require 48 hours' notice. I charge a fee for late cancellations and no-shows.

My office is located in suite 100C at 2740 Fulton Ave., Sacramento, CA, 95821, in the Citizens Business Center (btw. Marconi and El Camino Avenues, by the pedestrian crossing light).
Both the building and my office are wheelchair accessible. Large parking lot is available in front and behind the building. Refreshing coffee and tea are complimentary while you are waiting for me in the atrium. Please note that our building entrance door automatically locks at 6 pm and is locked on the weekends and holidays. Don't feel locked out and forgotten, I'm there. If you arrive at these times, please wait for me (or someone from the building) to let you in.
I also provide telehealth, which is therapy over the Internet. It is simple to access and saves you valuable commuting time if you are located anywhere in California.
I have flexible hours for your convenience. I can see you mornings, at your lunch break, or evenings; weekly, biweekly, or as needed.
